What will the apprentice be doing on site

We have an excellent opportunity to place an apprentice in an expanding café/takeaway based in the heart of Sheringham and that serves hot and cold food to take away as well as cooked meals to order in their restaurant. They are looking to recruit a new member of the team to assist the owner with tasks including meat preparation, making pastries, baking, cooking and preparing hot food and sandwiches.

Working alongside the owner, who has over forty year’s experience as a butcher and restaurant owner, you will work towards the Level 2 Production Chef Apprenticeship.

Ideally this would suit someone with an interest in developing their career in catering, the apprentice will work under the supervision of the owner, supporting all areas of the kitchen.

Desirable qualities

Previous work experience in the catering industry would be advantageous. 

Qualifications Required

The ideal candidate will have GCSE English and Maths at grade 4.
