What will the apprentice be doing on site
We have an amazing opportunity for an individual looking to begin their career in Manufacturing. The Apprentice will be working towards the Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Apprenticeship Standard. This includes following manufacturing processes and standard operating procedures while working safely. A Lean Manufacturing Operative will comply with health and safety policies while working with machinery, tools, and equipment.
The company specialises in creating bespoke fireplaces, kitchen work surfaces, baths, showers or wet rooms, floors, and outdoor cooking areas. These products are created from natural materials. The apprentice will work alongside the craftsmen learning all aspects of manufacturing these products and being part of fantastic projects.
The role will include –
• Using hand tools
• Complying with Health and Safety
• Cutting and measuring materials
• Using machinery
• Polishing slabs of material
• Keeping the workspace clean
• Creating sample products that will be on display in the showroom once the apprentice has learnt the basics.

Desirable qualities
Full UK's Drivers Licence this is desirable however not essential.
Qualifications Required
GCSE grade C/4 in Math's and English or equivalent qualifications.
The working week will consist of -
7.30am - 4pm
Approximately 39 hours per week
£5.50 per hour
30 minute lunch break
10 minute tea break in the morning.
